“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

It is Lisa’s genuine, caring, and compassionate approach—along with her lighthearted sense of humor—that is instrumental in establishing an empowering and safe relationship with her clients. This approach allows her to become part of the team that supports clients on their journey toward reaching their true potential. Lisa has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, childhood trauma, relationship challenges, and parenting concerns. She supports parents navigating behavioural challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, co- parenting stress, and the complexities of raising children and adolescents in today’s digital world.

Lisa integrates evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Through EMDR, she helps clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. Using CBT, she supports clients in identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Drawing from Positive Psychology, Lisa fosters strengths, resilience, and meaning, while her Solution-Focused approach helps clients clarify goals and build on existing resources. She works collaboratively with clients to deepen self-understanding and strengthen the tools needed to lead a fulfilling and self-compassionate life.

Lisa graduated with a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is currently working toward her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) through California Southern University. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and is an approved clinical supervisor, providing individual and group supervision to intern students and new counsellors as they develop competence, confidence, and ethical clinical practice.

Lisa is a wife and mother of five children. She enjoys time with her family, long walks, and reading. One day, she hopes to walk the ancient pilgrimage route from Canterbury to Rome.
